The bed and bedroom furniture construction and trade company Blue Bed took part in this year’s HOTELIA fair (13-16/11) at the International Exhibition and Congress Center in Thessaloniki. This first participation in a fair had great response not only in corporate level but also with regard to the new business contacts realized.
More precisely, Blue Bed in collaboration with the mechanic engineer and industrial designer, Giorgos Pitarokilis showed one of the six model hotel rooms during the DPOINT HOTEL VILLAGE event. At the specific event, six designers and architects showed the respective hotel rooms of distinct philosophy. For the construction of the rooms, the valuable contribution of significant production and material companies –one of them was also Blue Bed- was more than supportive.
The project was named ABOUT MY “ÎLE DE VILLE” PROJECT. The concept of the construction brought in mind a room that could be found in both urban and rural areas. That is how the name “the island of the city” came up. The natural materials used for the decoration as well as the furniture of the room (solid oak, cement style, stone and iron) offered an atmosphere of “theatric” simplicity.
The interest of the hundreds of visitors for the project was intense, fact that worked in a positive way for the company itself. Blue Bed proved that has entered dynamically in the furniture sector as it has already stood out thanks to the superior design and the supreme quality of the materials used.
