Giorgos PittarokilisGeorge Pittarokilis, www.pittarokilis.com was born and raised in Athens, Greece. He studied Industrial Engineer at the Technical University of Crete and he obtained his MSc at Management studies from the Brunel University of London.
In 2001 he relocates at North East Lincs of England where we works at the food industry as production planning Engineer. After two years of working in England with some breaks for worldwide backpacking from the USA to Asia and New Zealand he returns in Greece where he joins the army at the island of Leros and the surrounding small islands. Afterward, he works for two years at a trading company of building materials.
In 2006 he establishes his own technical firm 'Metaplasis Building Renovation', www.metaplasis.gr, which is operating till present at renovation contracts, design of spaces and special constructions.
Meantime, he conceives and develops the design of an innovative kitchen furniture system and in 2011 he founds the company 'Cassandra Cucine', www.cassandracucine.com that manufactures this design. The brand has gained rapidly international awareness and the kitchen is presented at DUBAI in 2011. Following the publicity, the kitchen is awarded as “The Kitchen of the Year 2013” for design and innovation at the AMBIENTE Fair in FRANKFURT.
In 2014 the kitchen is presented at Salone del Mobile in Milan and currently the brand grows by launching his second innovative design, the model 'IDOLA'.
Meanwhile, George designs living furniture for the company ARCHBONE, www.archbone.net, which participates as exhibitor at Salone del Mobile '15.
